As part of our workon shape, we carried out a number of shape investigations.

1. We used modelling materials to create 3d shapes and described their properties using correct athematical vocabulary.
2. We identified the properties of 2D shapes including parallel and perpendicualr lines and right, acute and obtuse angles. We then soretd the shapes using a Venn diagram.
3. We identified 3D shapes from their nets. We discovered that there are many different ways to draw the net of a cube.
