Everyone, including the adults took part the Calm me activity to help make sure we’re ready to learn.

The children then listed the good/positive about things that are the same and what is good/positive about the things that are different. The children were encouraged to see difference as something to celebrate.

For Open my mind, pictures of the royal family are placed on the white board and then we asked who are they? How are they connected? Then we looked at photos of other families which showed single parents, mixed race, etc to show how families are all different.
