Year 5 have had a fantastic week learning through the story Coraline during Book Week. We started the week of with drama and a visit from an author. We used our creative and D&T skills to create characters and a new setting. We really enjoyed working with parents to make the dioramas. They look fantastic!

We then used these to create a stop mo

tion video on the iPads to depict the problem

and resolution in the story. We made some brilliant chase and escape scenes!

We finished off the week by using all this inspiration to write our own stories and solve fraction and percentage problems in maths.
