Thanks to the sunshine, we enjoyed some time outside this week. The children were able to experience new things and interact with some of our Early Years children. The water play was very popular, which caused a few sad faces when it was time to come inside.
Again song time was enjoyed by all. This week we danced the morning away to ‘Twinkle Twinkle’ and ‘If you’re Happy and You Know it’.

This week, we had session two of our six week, Talking Tips program.
Parents worked well building their children’s confidence, language, eye contact and interaction.
The families took part in a range of activities that encouraged and promoted conversation, vocabulary and above all fun!
Year 2 have worked incredibly hard to prepare for there SATs tests so we decided to have a party to celebrate all of our hard work.
There was music, dancing, games and lots of delicious food! We had such a great time dancing outside in the sunshine.
Miss Smith, Miss Shryane and Miss Akhtar are incredibly proud of all the effort that was put in.

In Science, we have been exploring plants and trees. We have learnt all about evergreen and deciduous trees. We have been looking at lots of different trees and deciding whether the trees are evergreen or deciduous trees. We went on a tree hunt to find out which trees we have in our school site. Which trees can you see?
