Yesterday in small groups the chosen sorted the self image cards into either the happy face or the sad face according to their perceptions. The topic of celebrity and body image was brought up, the wet discussed things like airbrushing etc.

In tell me or show me, the children used the words from the self image sheet, and cut out the words that they think described their internal picture. Next to each word the children had to put a smiley face or sad face depending on how they perceive that word. We then looked at the balance between smiley and sad faces.
