The children’s weekly visit to James Memorial Homes is a time they all look forward to. Serving refreshments for the residents and local elderly people is great for bridging age gaps in the community. This week, the children met a range of fun loving and interesting characters. A lady who has seven hedgehogs, a 70 Year old woman, who is called the ‘Dancing Queen’ by her friends, as she loves to dance and not forgetting Violet who is an amazing 91 Years old! She was able to share with the children the joys of having a tin bath in-front of the fire and how being scared of spiders was not good when your toilet was outside.
