On Wednesday, Year 4 visited Birmingham town hall and became detectives to investigate the case of the missing organ pipes. We travelled back to 1853, 1945 and 1963 to dance, look for clues and meet historical figures. We particularly enjoyed crawling across the floor to escape the air raid sirens during  WW2. The visit ended with the pipes restored and a demonstration on the organ.
