As part of our topic in Year 5 we have been learning how the Ancient Egyptians built pyramids.

We built our pyramid

We had to try and see whether the ground was level and used different methods to test this.

We found out the Egyptians used water to see whether the ground was level.

We had to make sure our blocks of stone were completely straight so they would stack together properly.
