Today in PHSE our topic was about ‘role models’ we asked
the children to write down on their white boards who their role model is and what is it that inspires them.

PHSE – Year 4
Today in year 4 we talked about different rules that we have, we discussed what the rules were on the playground, walking into assembly, crossing the road and driving. children had to complete the sheet in pairs of all the different rules. Children worked well.
Computing – Year 3
Today in computers the children had to create a script that creates buttons that draw different shapes when clicked.
Potions – Year 4
Our topic for this half term is Potions. We started by looking at different fantasy creatures in our literacy lessons. Then we designed our own fantasy creatures and explained how they used their magical powers.
We thought about something magical that we wanted to be able to do, for example, fly like an phoenix, grow as tall as a giant, run as fast as a unicorn, or become as strong as a troll.
We created a potion using a variety of magical ingredients, such as:
- Fairy dust
- Magical seeds
- Unicorns’ tears
- Dragons’ blood
- Dried beetles
- Trolls’ slime
- Baby snakes
- Squirrels’ brain
- Lizards’ tongue
- Witches toe nails
We had a great time making our potions!
