Today in year 5/6 the children had to write and draw about the clubs that they do outside of school and how they relax when they are not at school.

The Animal man in Year 1
In Year 1 this week, we had a special visit from the Animal man. He brought a range of woodlands animals to meet us. We met Ben the Beetle, Speckles the Owl and Tango the corn snake. We really enjoyed learning lots of new facts about these creatures! Now, we are ready to create our very own factfiles about these animals.
Computing Year 1 and 2
Today in computing all the children created a script for multiples maths games that have a time limit and keep track of the score
Year 1 and 2
This half term Years 1 and 2 have worked with the school nurse on keeping their bodies clean and healthy. They learnt about good oral hygiene and hand washing.
Dare 2 Dream
Children in Years 5 and 6 have spent the first half of the Spring Term working with Steve Palmer from Dare 2 Dream. They have enjoyed using drama to showcase their learning and working as part of a team.
Year 3 and 4 PSHE
The children have been learning about rules and how they keep us safe. They have been able to relate this idea to areas of their own life and, in Year 3, they have been able to identify people in the community who help keep them safe.

MacMillan Cancer Fundraising
The children and parents of St Clement’s showed their support for our school coffee and table top sale for the Macmillan Cancer Charity. Thank you to everyone who donated and attended.
stay and play
St Clement’s Stay and Play has been very busy. The child are having an amazing time exploring, learning and playing with their friends, whilst parents enjoy spending time with their little ones and chatting with other parents. It is a weekly session that is not to be missed.
Forest School
The children have been making the most of the area at lunchtimes. I taught some of them how to make bracelets using a special method of plaiting four pieces of wool. It takes a lot of concentration! 
In the afternoon Year 5 have enjoyed team building games amongst other activities.
The children had to turn over the tarpaulin without anyone getting off. It was quite tricky!
